New beds with a weeks worth of work

The old bed moved to the office

I haven't really blogged for over a month.  This morning I get writing some excitement last week to weekend.

I spent all last week cleaning house to move our old bed to the office.  I sort of like it better there. I've been asking Kim if we could move it there this whole time.  And she finally said yes to move it there, except we got a new bed to go back in the main room of house 🏠.

We slept in the office, Kim had got a good sleep the second night, first night was somewhere different.
I just enjoyed being away from the Side of house that gets all the wind.

Here's our new bed. Ones side higher than the other cause ones softer.

After pulling a bag of dog hair out of the carpet

Vacuuming does not just do it. You have to use a carpet brush to get hair out.  I vacuumed twice then 🤣 used a brush and got lots of hair out. Then vacuumed again.

The brush Kim found for the carpets.

So when I got out of the hospital i got started cleaning house 🏡.  A spring cleanup, and if anyone knows mental health.  Houses suffer and the people inside do.

Our house is not this bad.

Yet it feels like some or at least I do get compulsive sick from just a little mess.  So I scrubbed the showers and counters.

I got a new shower 🚿 head for the bathroom.  But then changed my mind after I fixed the last one.

I also pulled a big hair clump our of the shower 🚿 drain, now things drain better, I sure just put some Draino down to clean it a bit more this week, when I can leave the windows open for a few hours.

After fixing the old showerhead,

I returned the new shower head afterwards 😃

I originally got this one so Kim could reach it easier, but she never responded much when I talked about changing it, also the saying goes if you fix what's not broken it usually becomes a bigger job than it originally thought to be.  Which makes me anxious think it.

I managed to get the other one on and get more pressure out of it.

Now this week I am exercising, and plans to go to the gym and for a swim, sauna.

The house feels better. I'm not much a fan of the king-size bed.  Feels like no one's in it with me, although Kim hasn't said much now if I move my feet at night, since I do that lots.  That's a nice thing is the bed moved less.

I got a hard bed, Kim a softer.  I sort of didn't want a hard time getting out of the bed.  Which that's been nice to get out of I don't feel like I'm sunk in and impossible to get out, guys just don't move like women do as flexible.

The struggle is real.

It's also higher up off the ground.  Which I'm surprised Kim hasn't said much of that being different. Although when I make the bed I find I sometimes find it move off the bed springs and push it back on. The sheet for the box spring cover is quite slippery, as it doesn't take much to push it back on completely.

We actually got two twins and frames just so we can clean under easier.  We floated the head board so we could pull it apart to clean under the bed.

That should make the room more enjoyable and keep dog hair mites down.  Carpet is synthetic so don't have to worry about that after it's cleaned, dog hair if it collects just makes me feel anxious and makes my migraines worse.

The dog 🐕 has taken over the office bed.

With my Afghan I made years ago.  She seems to like the space.

🐕 🐶 Dogs still have a huge mental boost I find in life.  Dixie just wants to cuddle in my lap some days overs just wants to be held.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
