Family reunion 2024

Going to a trip up to Edmonton for the weekend  Kim and I stop in Lacombe gluten free bakery 🧁 to get some treats for Kim. We take a break at a park to wait for the family reunion to start so we get at the right time. I had a delightful time with Kim and it is a pleasure Kim could drive the entire time. Usually I’m the one driving to Edmonton and it is a nice change being a passenger. We stay for one nights and getting back Sunday. Nice to see family, we ate burgers 🍔 for supper there and we had a fun time. We saw my grandparents new place. A pleasure to get coffee in the morning. Usually visit my grandparents we don’t get coffee cause they are aging but now the place has their own barista who serves us coffee. I was happy. 😃 an adorable 🥰 place for them, the building looks wonderful designed. I think I may order them groceries so they can wait for those goodies, made Icecream with syrup and some some sandwiches 🥪.  Maybe a nice treats waiting in there new place wo...

June. 13 Thursday 10 km

6:30 start of walk Start of the walk I’m up at quarter to Five ready for a walk at 6:30.  Meanwhile we finish about quarter to Nine. A peaceful walk I take some time looking 👀 around five in the morning looking for Dixie’s portable foldable water dish for the walk took for ever to find it. Three pelicans in Sunridge Park when we started our walk.  We made good time I think two hours and 16 minutes. A decent time not much for talking today but those walks are often the better  ones, Just quality time with another guy walking is a lot of fun too. My training readiness went to low, but it’s halfway so I still think I can lift weights last time. I did 10 km, my stats for training readiness went down all the way to the very bottom last 10km I think it’s cause I ran for some of it and so I think I can do some weights today still with out hurting myself.  I’m still hoping to mow the lawn before work starts for me on the weekend tomorrow. Getting down to popsin park ...

Walk at Henderson in the rain

The camera 📷 is a big fogged with the clouds, rain, sun, humid head a bit with the phone. Take a photo by the pond just after a spring shower 🌧️ . I track about 3 km of the walk but I never turned it on til we already did a lap.  So I says I got 10 km today we walked just over an hour and fifteen minutes so at that pace we’d have to be about 5 km walk. Work had me do another five between my morning and afternoon. The dog tracker tracked it all thankfully 😅. And do the walk was a decent amount. I enjoyed it. I think I talked lots. It used to not always be like that. We met another dog named ruby, her owner asked about our dog dog tracker, I got in a small conversation about it. And we said hello to many passersby people.  That made it great. A dead carcass was beside the path, looked like the bird 🦆 had it last moments but was skeleton remains. Looked quite decomposed to just be there. The dog reached her movement active minutes. She is sleeping great 😊 and activity is goo...

10 km walk run

Dixie and I do a 10 km walk and run. I had my best walking pace of a runner at 8.5 pace for one lap the morning. Ran up to my fastest a 4 pace per mile or km I think my laps were done in miles 1.6 km. Says my average pace was 12 per km but I never stopped my watch on my water breaks that could have taken up 20 minutes between 2-4 laps.  So I think my top pace was the most accurate for most the walk. Or around 10 a pace per km. A decent start of the day. I’m trying to upload my dogs tracker minutes and having difficulty hopefully by end of day I’ll have her stats updated.  Check out my walking activity on Garmin Connect. #beatyesterday  my stats uploaded. Running down hill at the moment.  Up hill I walked it, but it was a decent morning.  I wanted to double my five km walks I do in an hour and do a two hour walk. I did take breaks in between them to catch up. Even had two or three walk down cigarettes 🚬 near the end. My max heart rate hit up to 181 for fi...
