Last day of February walk

Dixie and I get out this wet winter day Dixie walking getting wet and muddy.  We walk for 20 minutes and enjoy the bit of sunshine ☀️ in our afternoon. I helped a friend move at noon. Earlier went for breakfast with my dad. After I pick up treats for Dixie and getting her nails done πŸ’…. They wanted us to try some omega oils, I told them I give her salmon skins like once a week. She should be good for omega oils yet we got some oils to make her food be yummy 🀀. After our walk I got to wipe her ✅ down with a towel. Dixie got her excitement for today, a few car rides and a walk. I’d like to share the dog with some one. So we could have the dog one or two weeks in a month as let someone else take her for a couple weeks. Work for her to get walked and cleaned and such is a bit much with cleaning house or maintenance on a house. Never ending list of jobs to do with Dixie to get her good for a day. We are below average on our walk days, and not on our walk days it affects Dixie’s ...

Haven’t walked with Bryan for a bit

Walking to the fire hall Started as a warm walk but once out in the open prairie it go a bit cold πŸ₯Ά.  Bryan said a short walk I said how about a walk til I’m cold. It been awhile since Bryan and I have walk due to the road conditions coming over and that I work 5 days a week trying to find time to socialize is a difficult 😞 some days. Looking in the fun with white snow is a blinding bug we manage to take a photo with Dixie running off leash. She loved getting her own running time. We walked about a half an hour, and that’s good, I would of like to walk around the pond for a bit buy Bryan a drink at Tim’s but it was a long walk he thought.  A bit of uneven terrain and snow walking. The path is much easier to walk in. Bryan didn’t have a hat.  πŸ§’ A hat makes a big difference walking in the winter. 2.32 km and our pace was a decent one ☝️. Dixie loved it and so far is at a good active minute. So far 75 minutes and half way to her daily goal. Here wellness score shot...

Steak dinner for Valentine’s

I get cooking steak πŸ₯© for dinner rib eye steak πŸ₯©. I had to clear off the bbq to get it going and start it up 20 minutes before I started cooking for the ice to melt enough to clear it off. The dog is happy, she got fed gravy in her kibble. And ran around in the back yard chasing birds πŸ¦…. She even got part of the best part of the rib eye. The fat, as Kim was passing over a piece of her steak πŸ₯© she dropped it on the floor.  So the dog got that and the bits Kim chewed then spit out. Does that bother me, she asks. Well it’s rib eye steak πŸ₯©, I’m happy 😊 you enjoyed it Kim.  The dog seemed to be in the right spot at the right time between both of us. So she gobbled that up in a heart beat. I’m wearing my compression suit cause I’ve lifted weights twice today and it helps with recovery ❤️‍🩹  When I slept with a compression suit I get good or excellent sleeps but when I don’t I get fair or poor sleeps.  These trackers are sort of new but they can help you see t...

Walk in a February Fog with a dog

Dixie and I walk with my dad. Another day and it looks like the spring will be in some atmospheric atmosphere.  With all the fog we are getting is. My Dad buys me a London fog and him a coffee ☕️.  We sit at a table with a couple and a bird flying about. Dixie thinks that was interesting 🀨. The coffee shop is moving and we get the scoop where to.  She a lovely lady she did our flowers at Kim and my wedding. πŸ’’    After warming up, we walk slip a few times, I yelled at Dixie. Scared the poop πŸ’© out of her. We see some deer 🦌 on both sides of us. This photo gets one side of the deer 🦌. An enjoyable walk. We get Dixie a tracking collar that can track her sleep active minutes and gps where she is. It’s the outdoor one, and it’s a cool device. I can see how much active she is. Judge how she would like to be understood for the day. Lately she been a rock star in sleep. πŸ’€ but we are about average on steps for her breed. Looks like a wet May from the fog we’r...

Walk after work

A goal of 144 Active minutes You might see Dixie in the distance running about We get walking by the field near the fire πŸ”₯ hall.  Dixie loves it there to go off leash and run. She’s got half way to her active minutes for averaging her breed. I still got to walk her another 58 minutes, I’m just taking a break to eat then we’re going back out again. The sun goes down at about five thirty πŸ• .  I got still some daylight hours to get her active in. She laying in the recliner looking outside at the moment. I just finished cooking two extra bags of Mr noodle 🍜. I feel great now, after work walk and with Dixie decompresses my day. By the time I get her outside she’ll be asleep πŸ’€ tonight from a longer walk.  Usually she gets a couple hour walks when I have time off. But when I’m working she usually doesn’t. So it’s a challenge to get my first day steps done ✅. I’m all ready at 9000 steps and another hour should put me close to 17000 steps. And I still got to get up for a...

First walk of February

Out walking with my dad Enjoying a good walk it must be warm out cause I’m sweating πŸ₯΅. It’s been my first walk with my dad since autumn it feels like, of what I’ve got written down.  Miss the guy, he is a pleasure to walk with. I’d have to go back in my blog to see the latest time  blogged it. Although I don’t blog all my walks, it gives an idea when I last blogged with him. It’s been awhile for my father in law also. Have to catchup to him for a walk on my next days off. With the sun shining it felt warmer than plus 7. I got a cool drink and walked for about a hour walk. My dad came for a walk after coaching me to clean the kitchen.  I would video chat πŸ’¬ the room and he’d point out things he’d want to see done in ten minutes and then an hour. I must of cleaned for two hours. It looks way less cluttered the kitchen. He took the dog for a moment to take the photo. Dixie and I stop in the shade to take a photo we met 2-3 dogs in the park after.  We said hello ...
