  Dixie loved her toy, my dad in mid conversation with Bryan. We are sitting out side on plus 34 day and it feels like 36 degrees. Back home 🏡 after a fun afternoon. We ate subway and had popsicle over at my parents house. We ate strawberries 🍓 out of my dad garden also I picked some raspberries.  They were delicious 🤤. We tossed the toy 🧸 around in the river for a good two hours.  Dixie felt good. Although at te end I think she drank to much water.  She wasn’t feeling the best on our walk back. I on the other hand, enjoyed a get away in the summer heat.  The river is a nice place to cool down. I later in the river, Bryan sat in the river.  We splashed the dog the dog shock by us.  We had a good time. Dixie wouldn’t let go of her toy unless her head got dunked in.   We go down to the river after a day of work The river is another place in Lethbridge.  A nice 😊 change from the city life.  During these weekdays it’s not as busy as the weekends. We Dixie chasing the ball 🏀  Bryan tosses the ball and Dixie makes some splashes. Only one other person at the river besides us.  I only saw one vehicle 🚗 and no one was there. And the owner left the back of his truck open.  Weird I know, quick access for the dog.  I’m sure he did it on purpose, it’s one of those things you wouldn’t do unless old or intoxicated.  We left it but SUV was gone when we got back to our vehicles 🚗. Blue sky not as smoky today. Made walking back easier, I enjoyed it.  I got enough sun and my watch charged an extra day on how much sun we got in that hour.   Garden 🪴 weeding I don’t know how the garden can go so full of weeds, but it’s just filled with them. Almost tired of gardening, because all the weeds of covered all the food.  Tomato plants are still going strong. Lol and I got a few strawberries. Bryan and I ate some as I pull the weeds around them. Dog playing in the sprinkler  I get pulling up weeds and my hands are dirty. Bryan is tossing the ball 🏈 with the 🐕 dog. I got lots work to be done in the garden.  And it’s just to much right now in my social pyramid. The dog being a huge time hog. Filled one blue bin of weeds. I could do a couple of them with how much I left it unattended.  I think I’m the only one in the garden 🪴 at the moment. Often I don’t think 🤔 it was wise to plant anything if I was just to busy for it. I got the potato 🥔 cleared around and the tomato 🍅 plants cleared of weeds same with the strawberries but my garlic and onion’s seemed to disappear 🫠 in the ground 

  We get a walk with Dixie today Walking around Henderson park, the large trees give lots of shade. And Dixie had her water 💦 bag so she got a drink of ice water at the end.  She chewed an ice cube and had a fun time. Puppy 🐶  We met a lively pup 🐶 named maple 🍁 and he had huge 🐾 for being a puppy.  The size of Dixie’s feet 👣.  At fifteen weeks he’s going to be a big dog 🐕. The puppy owner new Allyson from the university and I gave each puppy/dog a half a treat. Although I think they were a bit hard for puppy treats maple took some time chewing threw her half of the biscuit.  Dixie was well behaved and shared her half a biscuit with no issues.   I sit in the river, another nice day out. Walking to and from the river is a tremendous task sometimes.  Yet it’s worth it for in the moment one is away from worries. We sat in the river with our feet 👣 drying off. That was relaxing 😌 and I think we both needed to get away from the city and sit in a park with a bunch of dogs. I find myself there more often to just decompress my day. Or morning or after a sleep 😴. Wake up stressed the dog wanted to go out. I walked her right away and picked up a coffee ☕️. Walking is healthy, less stressed the dog is the less stressed I am. Excuse the face I’m looking in the sun. Bryan sat in the river, he met me down there with his own 🪑 chair. A relaxing time. We stayed for an hour. We met a dozen dogs 🐶  All the dogs listen well, and had fun socializing.  A few barks of excitement. Small dogs big dogs 🐶 all sort of colours and a nice 👍 time.   Dixie, Dan and I go for a long walk We walked the full circuit around the path.  I got a coffee and two donuts this morning.  Breakfast of champs. Anyway a good get away. And a happy dog. Dixie dirt was a bit loose. I gave her some raspberries and blueberries 🫐 last night so today she was loose. Dogs need fruit also, although the walk got her tired before I go to work. So much is in the go right now.  I am absolutely swamped with good stress and bad stress. Dan was good company to chat 💬 with in our walk. I think he wants us to move close to him. I sort of want to also. It will be close to work and other friends of Kim. A good day  I was asked to go visit a friend in hospital 🏥 but I don’t do hospitals.  Just my moto, and Kim goes there all the time.  So it’s a hard one for me.   Kim come with Dixie and I to sit in the river We go picking up our dog dirt bags cause they started to blow away.  A little bit of wind makes all the difference here. I got to work the next two days but I got off early to sit in the river with the dog. Pay and a half but when the dog depends on our river time or our ball tossing.  I can’t really stay long at work and clean up or consume to many hours.  The dog mental health is our meantal health. If she’s not getting played with, there’s lots of triggering noises that she is barking at all through the day and night if she’s not tired. I got to wear her out.  Finn not...
