Around the lake

 Bryan and I go get some wings

Afterward we go for a walk around the pond.

Dixie was flooded with excitement 🤣. It's been awhile to our favorite pond.

Some one graffitied the bridge.  Well I shouldn't say graffitied but just spray painted it with red paint.

It is sad when that happens.

Anyway we walked once around the pond 🤠 and most of it was ice.

We managed to keep up and not fall.


Dixie is thrilled.  She was pulling the whole time. She thoroughly enjoyed her time out.

For lunch. 

That is delicious 😋.

Anyway a good Friday.

 After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together. There’s something about running with Dixie that makes the effort lighter—her energy and joy keep me motivated, even when I’m easing back into the rhythm. At first, I thought about pushing myself to five kilometers, but I remembered the back pain I’ve been dealing with and decided to listen to the advice of my AI fitness coach: don’t overdo it on the first run back. Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

  Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin.
