I get turning dirt
A season has started.
I do have a bit of dirt and compost left for them. So I might get to it today.
I spent $89 on flowers today.
$70 on dirt.
Still have last year's marigolds placed in a pot before I dug it in.
Fixed up my last year planters that were falling apart. Hopefully they last a bit longer. There a bit more sturdy now.
I got cover head to toe in dirt and ants crawling on me as one planter had an ants nest in it.
I mixed those ants into dozen other planters while turning dirt.
Will see if they survive it or if I made a mistake to doing it that way.
I'm excited to sit out front in the shade or when it's summer while my flowers are full bloom. Hopefully I'll be having a cigar by them.
My big porcelain ashtray broke this year. Which I got quite disappointed about.
Seems every day I'm getting a task done and working on something to make something.
I still have to talk to Kim is she wants to plant 🍓 strawberry's or not. I sort of planned on planting Marigolds in some of the planters, I have enough if them they could grow like weeds. Yet Kim might pick some strawberry plants up. I'm ready for it. I have an idea on some of them could go.
I have to make a list what's going in the garden. We never did germination, to busy to set it up.
Winter ❄️ sort of never let it happen.
Bit what ever we do plant it's just going to be started in the garden.
We have garlic coming up and onion tops already.
I'd like to talk to Kim about potatoes (we might have), zucchini, Onions(we don't have), squash, tomato 🍅, lettuce 🥬, and 🥕 carrots.
About 8 rows worth. And I'm hoping we can plant garlic soon right away also. So that would be undisturbed ground, along the sides of the garden.
I'm about to go take a look at the seeds we got to make sure it's do-able.
8ish rows I think. We like our garlic, so I'll get that to fit around the perimeter for next year. Better start it tonight or tomorrow. ☺️😊
A list is.
1.Potatoes
2. Zucchini
3.onions(need to buy)
4.squash
5.tomatoes
6.carrots
7.lettuce
8.garlic(around the perimeter)
9. Strawberry 🍓 plants. ( I think those come out later)
Time to get it 🥰💓 in the garden.
A tomorrow job. Put it in my Moleskine.
I would do onion tops but last year we had so many and they weren't my favourite in 🥗 salads or on sandwiches 🥪
If we do it would most like be done in cups.
Also I have to pick up two plastic tables for the sunroom. To keep the dog out of the germination cups if we do plant seeds for spring and fall in the sunroom.
List
10.two foldable tables.
Harvest haven has some strawberry plants for sale. I’ll let you know for how much.
